Dr. Jason Plumer
Lead Pastor
Dr. Jason Plumer has been faithfully ministering at FBCL since 2015. He believes strongly in the authority of Scripture and is committed to expository preaching, prayer, and discipleship within the local church. He is grateful to serve the community in which God has place him.
Dr. Plumer earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and Political Science from Winona State University. He also holds a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Educational Ministry degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Plumer is also the Headmaster at Litchfield Christian School. He has a strong passion about spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and believes education can be a way of grace for all children.
Dr. Plumer is married to Stacy, and together they have 5 beautiful children: Naomi (Husband Ryan), Ethan, Abigail, Abram and Elias. Dr. Plumer enjoys reading, fly fishing and good music.

Pastor Sonny Barrett
Worship & Discipleship
Pastor Sonny Barrett has faithfully served in church ministry in both full-time and bivocational roles since 1989, investing decades in worship leadership, teaching and discipleship.
Pastor Sonny holds a Bachelor's degree in Music with a minor in Psychology, a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia. In addition to his pastoral ministry, he serves in the Anesthesia Department at St. Francis Hospital.
Sonny is married to his wife, Audra, and they are parents to their daughter Maddie and proud grandparents to their granddaughter, Reyna. Pastor Sonny's greatest joy is seeing lives transformed by the gospel and believers grow into mature, faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Michael Koen
Deacon Ministry & Administration
Pastor Michael Koen joined the FBCL family in 2018 and began serving as a deacon in 2020. Prior to coming to FBCL, he faithfully served for 16 years at Carlyle First Baptist Church, where he was ordained as a deacon in 2008, served multiple terms as Chairman of Deacons, and taught both youth and adult Sunday School. Pastor Koen believes strongly in the local church, biblical leadership, and the importance of living out the gospel in everyday life.
Pastor Michael is a retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant with more than 20 years of service, including his final years as a First Sergeant. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aircraft Technology and Human Resource Management and a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Theology from Liberty University.
Michael and his wife, Marie, have been married since 1992 and are blessed with two married children Anna (Husband Daniel) and Anthony (Wife Skylar) and two granddaughters (Riley Ann & Willow May). They are grateful to serve the Lord at FBCL and are thankful for God's faithfulness in every season of life.
